Irving, TX - Alliant Systems, formerly known as IPC Systems, Ltd., has released the latest version of its flagship route accounting software for textile rental operators and other route-based service companies. Alliant Route Accounting improves the performance, scalability, and cross platform data integration of the front office application. At the core of the new product is a new, more-powerful SQL engine.
"This product is significant in that it embraces new technologies, simplifies data structures for reporting purposes and is optimized for the SQL Server 2000 database engine," said Jeff Belcher, president of Alliant Systems. " Alliant Route Accounting will provide true database portability for textile rental companies."
The new product includes all of the same functionality of previous versions, but is delivered in a more scalable format. Also, Alliant Route Accounting is designed to integrate with a full-featured web-based module that will be available in the fall of this year.
Alliant Systems is the leading provider of route automation solutions. Alliant Systems' suite of software products enable textile rental companies to save time and money by improving front office and route operations. Alliant's products help companies generate greater revenue opportunities, streamline operations, and are less expensive to operate and maintain compared to custom, in-house accounting solutions. Headquartered in Irving, Texas, Alliant Systems was founded in 2002 when a team of industry veterans purchased the assets of Information Plus Corporation (IPC), a company that provided the number one solution for route accounting for textile rental companies.
